Dr. Darko Mladenovic (known as Dr. Darko) and his staff at the Animal Wellness Clinic are a huge part of our animal rescue success. We could not do it without them. While some of our rescues are adopted right into homes after shelter rescue, many require care and treatment upon their release and during their time in foster care. Dr. Darko has treated our animals for a wide variety of injury and illness, including mange, kennel cough complications, broken bones, abuse and neglect, parasites, heartworms, infections, burns, and a numerous other ailments. Their genuine care for the animals and their desire to help us continue to save as many as we can, shows in all that they do. Everyone at the clinic goes above and beyond in the efforts towards animal care and health. Dr. Darko believes that care for your pet does not need to be out of reach, so the clinic services are offered at the best rates around.

Dr. Mladenovic is a graduate of the University of Sarajevo (1989) and the owner of Animal Wellness Clinic. Recently, Dr. Darko taught holistic medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine. He specializes in, and practices, homeopathy along with conventional veterinary medicine at Animal Wellness Clinic. He is also known as the Doctor that still does house calls. Dr. Mladenovic is very family oriented and owns 3 dogs; Floppy, Spike and Frosty.

Christina Crawfis, has been grooming, training, showing dogs, horses, donkeys and many other types of animals for over 35 years. An animal behaviorist, she has administered 3 veterinary hospitals working both technically and administratively. First runner up " Citizen of the Year Award" 2009 in Lee County, Florida. Former chair of Lee County Animal Care Trust Oversight and Care Committee; executive producer and host of AdoptaPet TV, official pet show of Cape Coral and Bonita Springs Florida.
Christina has also worked extensively in primate rescue, raising many Chimpanzees and Macaques in her own home. The human/animal bond is an important aspect of her work, helping children with behavior problems through the use of dogs in 4-H programs.
Animal Rescue is an essential part of the community service of All-Dogs Hair Haven.
